There are somethings that I just can’t resist. The problem is when I get those things I can’t help but want MORE!!!! I was talking with some of our listeners today and they told me about all kinds of things that they can’t resist either. Annette loves DinoSours Gummy Candies. Joey is all about the Spitz Sunflower Seeds. Raylene refuses to buy Cadbury Mini Eggs because she will eat them all at once. Connie can’t stop the Popcorn. On and on it goes.
I can relate to all of these. There is one thing that I get hooked on really fast that seems really strange to me though…
Sleep.
I don’t know about you but the more sleep I get the more tired I feel. I used to get about 5 to 5 and-a-half hours of sleep every night. My alarm would go off, I’d put my feet on the floor and in about 15 minutes my whole system would be humming right along.
Now I get about 6 and-a-half to 7 hours of sleep. When my alarm goes off I put my feet on the floor and it takes me almost an hour or more to finally have my internal engine running at full idle. I drag my butt and can’t shake the cobwebs no matter how much coffee I am punting.
The other funny thing about all of this is that no matter where or when I can always nap. If you give me approximately 5-7 minutes I will be fully asleep, guaranteed! I love that little talent. I rarely have a sleepless night because of it.
I have to wonder though, is this abnormal or am I just really good at sleeping… all the time. Is it possible to be addicted to sleep? -Nic
