We are continuously told, “keep away”. The reminder to social distance is a constant echo. In Saskatchewan we play by the rules, and we do it well. So much so that the numbers seem to be slowly swinging in our favour. The reason we’re so good at it is because we don’t let it stop us. We figure out how to make it work.
Yesterday there were so many people that came together to show their support for the family of Colby Cave. Our community saw the need to come together and pay tribute… and so we did. Respectfully, and by the rules. The family of Colby Cave traveled through over 15 kilometers of fans, friends, and love.
The Battlefords lost a hometown hero on the weekend, but even in his passing Colby showed us how strong we are, when we come together.
