This was definitely a rest and recovery day from all of the great work you have been doing over the past week in quarantine.
Now, even though it was just stretching, I also incorporated a light jog with my dog. So first thing in the morning I stretched in bed and then out the door for a walk/run. You can absolutely do this with or without a dog, but they do add motivation.
If you’re like me, I’m sure you’ve found it hard to stay motivated during this time. It’s okay to take the time that you need to just be still, but I hope that these videos are helping to keep you moving… at a safe distance, of course!
So, I’m not the most flexible person and you certainly don’t have to be to do these exercises. The comfort of your bed gives you support, but I did find that it made it a little bit harder to reach, so feel free to do this on a mat or carpet as well.
