If you are a bit sore from yesterday’s leg day and if you are also including cardio daily like me, at the beginning of my video I do some dynamic stretching. This can really help warm your body up before you start your exercise because you are actively moving your body while you are stretching.
If you are having trouble staying motivated during this time, here’s some things that you can do to help you get your daily exercise done:
- Incorporate your pet or children in your workouts – I went for a run/walk with my dog, running around with your kids can have the same effect and is also more fun!
- Listen to us on the go! – I’m sure you have a go-to playlist, but if you wanted to switch it up and have our radio hosts entertain you through our station apps available for free download in the app store.
- Have a destination to run/walk to or plan your route – this will keep you focused on the finish line and will help you to keep going.
- Get ready! – I’m in my pj’s all day, so sometimes taking a shower before you workout can motivate you in a refreshing way.
- Remember how the feeling after your workout – your body will thank you! It’s so easy to just be lazy during this time, but just think about how hard it will be to get back into it once the world goes back to “normal”.
Here’s day 10: Couch Potato Arms
This is my kind of workout! Were changing “Netflix and chill” to “Netflix and grind”
