COVID 19 has been responsible for a ton of changes in our lives. Some have been tough to cope with because it disrupts our expectation of normal. Or patterns and habits are part of what give us comfort. We are creatures of habit indeed!
When we get the chance to tell COVID-19 to “shove it” it feels good. The incredible people that make up the BUH Foundation made it their mission to continue to fund raise for our hospital. COVID doesn’t stop the need for Health Care. Through your donations the BUH Foundation has provided millions and millions and MILLIONS of dollars worth of medical equipment to the hospital that is responsible for taking care of you and me.
The Wayne Pruden Memorial Golf Tournament is a huge fund raiser that has been happening for over 30 years and the Foundation was hell bent for leather to make it happen again this year. Thanks to some ingenuity and hard work they were able to say “NOT TODAY COVID!!!”
The VIRTUAL Tournament is happening right now and runs until June 12. Sure we don’t get to gather together and tease each other and sit down to an incredible meal to laugh at all the duffing and to applaud all the lucky shots but we do get to see this incredible tradition carry on. When you register as a golfer/team/sponsor you will receive a charitable tax receipt (gotta love those little beauties) and your donation will help to reach the goal of $54,250!
