Last night we were getting ready for bed and my beautiful wife Megan decided to check the weather radar before turning in for the night. She said “Wow that looks like it’s going to hit us.” I was pretty much asleep so I didn’t really think much of it until about 15minutes later when she woke me up by asking “Can’t you hear that?” I wasn’t sure what she was talking about so I sat up and realized that the normal sound of white noise from our fan was being drowned out but the sound of driving rain on the roof!
Then came the wind, lightning and thunder. It was NUTS!!!
It moved on in about 20 minutes but it left us with over half an inch of rain, a major mess of everything that wasn’t nailed down in the yard and a panicking dog. It tracked right into North Battleford.
