It’s time for lunch at Beaver Grill Express, upstairs in the curling rink at the CUPlex. Ask any successful restaurateur and they will tell you there are some things that would be considered industry staples on the menu.
Let me introduce you to a true Saskatchewan Staple, Veal Cutlets.
At Beaver Grill Express they serve veal cutlets up with a generous pile of french fries (always get gravy too!) and they are exactly what you remember them to be like!
You see there are some foods that fancy Chefs might say to “experiment” with, I say Nay Nay. Don’t mess with this my friend. The reason you find Veal Cutlets on so many menus across the province is because when people come in to get fed sometimes they want to know exactly what they are sitting down to.
My wife’s Gido, Mike, never wavered from Veal Cutlets. You could take him anywhere and he would flip through the menu searching for it. If it was on there, he was ordering it. Can’t blame him though, he knew what he liked and was happy and satisfied every time. Unless some maniac threw a tomato on his plate… that was a deal breaker. It’s amazing how food can conjure up such memories.
Tender, breaded, and seasoned to taste baby! These veal cutlets are right in the pocket and won’t leave you disappointed. Add on the fact that they are on the $12 lunch menu and you’ll be smiling for the rest of the day.
Lunch! Dine in or take out with Beaver Grill Express. 306-441-9040
