Yesterday I had a chance to chat with Martina from Phase 4 Hair and Esthetics. We got on the phone to catch up and she was nice enough to answer a few questions I had about what business is like right now.
What’s different? Well, the biggest difference is how the staff gear up for the day. Martina said if you weren’t standing in a hair studio you would think the stylists were getting ready to assist in the operating room. As much as it feels a little weird it’s what is necessary for them to serve their clients so they have just made it part of their day. The same goes for all the cleaning that’s necessary. It takes time, but they want every person who comes in to feel safe knowing that every precaution is being taken. Does it mean long days and extra effort? Yup. Is it worth it? For sure.
When I asked Martina about how the clients have been dealing with the changes she said that it’s impressive how thankful they are! Every customer that comes in seems to have a smile on their face and is just so happy that they can get back in the chair with their favorite stylist.
A nice bonus is that Phase 4 is doing everything they can to make sure they serve their clients so they now employ a full time receptionist to set up your appointment. They are also bringing in more retail items along with an organic line of skin care and hair care products that have done a great job of eliminating harmful chemicals, and an impressive list of allergens, all the while maintaining stylist quality!
