The best part of Halloween as a grown up is that you get to pick whatever candy you want! And I mean WHATEVER you want.
I like to have full variety. Normally I’ll sit down for, well let’s call it a ‘snack’, and I’ll grab a Snickers, Mars, Skittles, Starburst, Kraft Caramels, Twizzlers, Kit Kat, a Laffy Taffy (one of each color actually), and the King of Halloween Candy – Reese Peanut Butter Cups.
They Say Variety is the spice of life – why fight it!?
I love shopping for the Halloween candy because then I can always guarantee to get my favorites. The candy makers always seem to try to pair up a crowd pleaser with some kind of odd ball though. It always seems that after all the good stuff is gone you are left with a bunch of stuff like Candy Corn and Tootsie Rolls.
