This event is so good at raising awareness and is a flagship for men to step up and show that they care. Walk A Mile in Her Shoes is all about ending abuse of women. The Battlefords and Area Sexual Assualt Centre has pushed this even forward for many years.
Not only is it important and makes an impact. It’s also comes along with a fair dose of shenanigan’s. In case you were not aware, the idea is that guys register, fundrais, and then walk… in 4 inch red leather high heel shoes.
One of my favorite memories was the year Trent Gatzke from Scott Campbell Dodge decided to really put the pedal to the metal right at the end, only to take a full on nose dive into one of the trees in front of Rayburn Dental Studio! LOL!
He broke his toe!!! That’s a true story. Trent was a real trooper.
