My friend Derek Watson made my day yesterday with his Facebook Post.
6 “new” songs from Canada’s beloved sons of ROCK. The Tragically Hip had originally intended their iconic album Road Apples to be a double album titled Saskadelphia. Record execs said “No. Too many songs won’t go over well.” Record execs said, “No. Saskadelphia is too Canadian, change the name.”
More than 30 years later 6 songs from the master recordings have been unearthed, and remastered, and are set to tantalize the ears of HIP fans the world over… TODAY!
Check out the details here from Rolling Stone.
Awesome.
Have an incredible May Long Weekend!
