When I was asked if I was willing to try something new, I said sure! I didn’t realize at that moment that my co-worker Jennifer had Laser Hair Removal in mind. Needless to say I was a little surprised when I saw the calendar invite and details show up in my calendar.
Laser hair removal uses intense light (laser) to penetrate the skin and essentially terminate the hair follicle. So let me tell you, I was a little nervous rolling in to Try It. When I thought about laser hair removal, “worst case scenario Nic” immediately imagined an electric-chair type experience. I was completely wrong!
Vanessa was super friendly and professional as she told me about the machine, what it does, all while deciding to go after the scragley hairs that managed to migrate south from my head to my shoulders and back. During the whole process we chatted and talked about the nice weather.
For the most part I couldn’t even feel it! Vanessa explained that areas close to the spine could be more sensitive, and they were, but not anywhere near as bad as I was expecting. To be honest the only way I could describe it is a slight pin-prick.
The big bonus to removing your hair with the Cynosure Laser at Lifeways compared to any other method, is that the follicle that had a hair in it is done, and in 5-6 treatments of an area, the hair is gone, and I mean GONE!
