Oh my goodness, taxes eh. Deadlines… Deductions… Credits… MATH!! AHHHH!! I’ll tell you if I were to go to hell I would be sitting at a desk doing a tax return for all eternity.
I’m not strong at Math and a lot of changing variables are just a couple of the reasons this season makes me sweat. That’s why I ALWAYS take get my taxes filed professionally. I will always pay for the “Audit Protection” too. That way if the CRA comes knocking, they can talk to the accountant and not me. If I was to receive a visit from the CRA they would leave and send in tactical forces, “that guy is definitely guilty of something” they’d say. They’d kick in the door and I’d be sitting at the kitchen table breathing in and out with a paper bag, white as a ghost, just sitting in a puddle of my own sweat… all because of taxes. Oy.
I was texting with Christy this morning and she says that she and her husband ALWAYS file their own return. Now that’s some confidence right there. Math confidence. Got get me some of that.
