Yesterday I was able to go to the ground breaking ceremony for the new Henry Beaudry Interpretive Culture Art Gallery. This new interpretive centre will share the history and stories of residential schools and survivors, as well as the Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation’s stories and it’s signing of Treaty 4 and Treaty 6. Construction for this new centre will start early October and will hopefully be finished by Fall 2024! Here are some photos I took while at the event.
