This time we are taking a trip to the 1960’s with Melting Moments. These are delicious soft short bread cookies sandwiched together with a butter cream filling. They really melt in you mouth.

Grant was over baking from his birthday. Let’s see what he thinks.

Cookie Recipe
- 2 cups softened butter
- 1 cup powered sugar
- 1 3/4 all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups Cornstarch
- 1/2tsp baking powder
Filling
- 1/2 cu butter softened
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Combined wet ingredients then incorporate the dry ingredients. Ones everything if fully mixed together chill dough for at least an hour.
Pre heat oven to 350f
Hand roll 4cm balls and smoosh with a fork.
Bake for 18 – 20 minutes or until edges are golden.
