Two men and one woman were arrested earlier this week after reports of a firearm discharge near 108th Street in North Battleford.
According to RCMP, no injuries were reported, but people and a white vehicle were seen fleeing the area.
The suspects were later located and arrested after the vehicle was pulled over in a traffic stop, and the SUV appeared to be damaged by gunfire.
Officers found a shotgun and ammunition, including a few expensed shells inside the SUV.
As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old Turtleford man is facing multiple charges, including operation of a motor vehicle while impaired, operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration greater than 80 mg, possession of firearm/weapon/ammunition in motor vehicle,possession of restricted firearm/prohibited weapon with ammunition without license/registration and other weapons related charges.
The second male suspect, a 31-year-old from Thunderchild First Nation, is charged with one count of failing to comply with an undertaking condition, while the female suspect, a 23-year-old from North Battleford, is charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
