Let me start off by saying my wife Megan is incredible and I love her more than anything. She makes me smile every day and I’m pretty sure she would say the same about me. We spent this past weekend at the “Breathe” Marriage Conference in Saskatoon learning how we can stay on the same page in our BUSY family world.
Everyone is busy. There is no questioning that, when things are busy it’s easy to have trouble staying on top of everything. We have always done our very best to communicate everything. We have used, texts, a family calendar, notes on the fridge… heck we’ve even resorted to writing things on our hand!
Communication is key and we were lucky enough to learn that long ago when we first got married. We sat down and agreed that we would use plain English when we needed to communicate, and I’ll tell you what a smart move that was. You see because when you don’t use actual words and speak them out loud this is what happens!
That Jeff Allen must be a genius! I would never know what was going on in our relationship if I had to try and crack “The Code”!
