Today is Tuesday September 22nd. This day isn’t just special because of the change of seasons, it’s special because there are two “Open” signs that will be lit up in the Battlefords.
Today we welcome Montana’s Restaurant to the North Battleford Business Landscape. We’ve been watching it go up bit by bit, from the big land movers leveling off the building site to the electricians lighting up the big Montana’s sign on the outside of the building, there has been one question on everyone’s mind – “When will they open!?”
After a lot of training and a night of testing out the staff on family and friends, today is the day that the doors swing open for anyone that would love to enjoy the western flare and down home grilling! There are no reservations, first come first served. And they will be following all the necessary precautions to serve you safely according to the SHA.
The second business that will be finally turning the key to open their doors is our very own Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts. This has been a long time coming. When the Pandemic forced things to shut down, the Dekker Centre was one of the very first to have to lock the doors. And if you take a look around, they are one of the last to be allowed to open up again. It feels like it’s been forever.
I know I’ve missed live performances. Music, Theatre, Dance, Comedy, and everything else that can be performed on the big stage delivers an energy and a feeling that doesn’t just make you smile, but it’s good for the soul! You make memories, deep connections with friends and family who share in that experience.
Those experiences are bursting back to life in fine fashion with a fall line up that will be sure to please. Check out the details HERE.
I love to see those “Open” signs!
