As it goes in Saskatchewan there are two major winter time activities, playing Hockey and watching Hockey. LoL! But seriously Hockey is a major part of winter around here and the fact is, right now, it’s shinny or pick-up games in the driveway or your Out-Door-Rink. Hockey is pretty much locked down so that means that someone that enjoys the 2nd favorite winter activity of watching hockey doesn’t have a lot of options… that is until tomorrow!
The NHL is back on Wednesday. Another shortened season with an interesting addition of the “North Division” which will include all the teams north of the boarder. The US border is still a pretty specific line in the sand right now so this will prevent the Canadian teams from having to go back and forth into the States.
The season won’t be normal, but at least we can get back to HNIC and the Highlights of the Week. That’s going to feel good.
Since I know so very very very very little about the stats and details of teams and players, I’ll ask you- which team will be the one to watch this year?
