As Homer Simpson once said “Lousy Smarch weather!” He wasn’t kidding.
March 21 was the first FULL day of Spring here on the prairies and we were treated to the ol’ Saskatchewan Bait-n-Switch. When you think spring images of green grass, chirping birds, and sunshine come to mind.
Instead Mother Nature gave us this:
Oy!
The best part was by 9am it was melting away again.
Thanks to all of our Q98 Road Warriors who sent in real-time updates from all the highways around the Battlefords and Meadow Lake.
Well at least the forecast says it’s going to be sunny now… or should I say, for now!
