Collecting something is empowering. The more you collect the more you learn about the stuff you have and what it’s worth. The collection that was stolen in the story above would have been priceless. I have a coin collection from when I was a kid, and I’m pretty sure my mom still has a few coffee cans with some of my “cool rocks” that I found at the lake over the years.
