The City of NB is actively addressing road-clearing efforts this morning due to heavy snowfall. With over 10cm of snow and a winter storm warning still in effect, driving conditions are challenging, thanks to blowing snow and high winds impacting visibility. City roadways crews are currently on the streets, focusing on Priority 1 and Priority 2 roads first, as outlined in the plowing map (https://www.cityofnb.ca/media/0cqcvrpa/cnb_snow_street_plowing_map_11_x_17.pdf). This initial phase is expected to take a few days before shifting to residential streets.
For your safety, the City urges cautious driving and requests that residents stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. Additionally, please adhere to “no parking” signs on residential streets to facilitate proper cleaning on designated days. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
